Northern Ireland. Northern Ireland (part of the old province of Ulster) is made up of Antrim, Armagh, Derry/Londonderry, Down, Fermanagh and Tyrone. Although there are industrial centres the area is largely agricultural. Mainly low lying, with Ireland's largest lake (Lough Neagh) at its centre, Northern Ireland has mountains to the North West (Sperrin), the North East (Antrim) and to the South East (Mourne).
