Anglia. This region includes the counties of Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk. As well as large areas of flat lowlands, fertile farmlands, market towns and unspoilt villages the area contains much to interest the tourist, birdwatcher, nature lover or weekend sailor. There are sandy heaths and windmills. There is Thetford Forest, one of England's most beautiful cathedrals at Norwich, Ely Cathedral, the home of British horse racing at Newmarket, learning at Cambridge and plenty of coastal resorts including Great Yarmouth, Cromer, Lowestoft, Hunstanton, Sheringham and Clacton.
